Our good friend and photographer Stephen Wilde caught up with Winnipeg native and Weakerthans guitar player Stephen Carroll.
Wilde just arrived back to Vancouver a long 2 week road trip. Apparently you can find Carroll working out in laundry mats all over
Winnipeg. I guess its his way of staying in shape for surf season?
The Die Junge campaign came alive on October 27 when JDK and Kenneth Cappello hosted 300 clients and friends for a bash on Wall Street. JDK Associate Creative Director David Covell set the mood in the bar with some creative decorating that reflected the overall campaign look and feel—black-plastic corridors and dividers, smashed mirrors, low lighting, and carved pumpkins.
A rotating cast of DJs kept the crew dancing and Bulldog Gin... read full posting

We are back from a year of touring with our other band, Black Mountain, and are currently dreaming up a new album, and hope to begin recording it this November. We will be playing some shows in December: Seattle, Vancouver, and Portland.
Just last weekend, we had 2 premieres on the Bonfire Monster world tour in
Portland and Seattle, and we raised $1700 for Boarding for Breast Cancer.
I've attached a pic from our premiere ad tomorrow I am going to Calgary for
another premiere. Should be fun!
On June 18th 2008, Jeremy R. Jansen packed a bag full of cameras and met up with the Constantines & Ladyhawk to embark on a 9 day tour through Canada. Starting in Winnipeg & ending in Vancouver, these photographs show the way things look when you are laughing all time. With an introduction from Bry Webb, this 32 page photo-book holds true to the vibes that were shared amongst these Canadian rebels! "Brave on, Con Lady. Where are we playing tonight?"
Check out Lifetime photographer Jeremy Jansen’s blog. He just got back home from a tour of Europe with our good friends the Constantines. Amazing! From Paris to Hamburg and everywhere in between.
After having spent the better part of 2 months in Berlin, Les has come back to Vancouver to show his work at BLIM.
The current work I am showing at Blim reflects the captivating aesthetic and formal qualities of common vices we may see around us daily, for example coffee, booze, and smokes. Whether one gives in to these vices or not, the attractive caliber of the icons of these vices retain an asphyxiating compromise when associating vanity with surrender.
Collective artist John Copeland will be involved with the ‘Boys Are Back In Town” group show in Copenhagen, Denmark at the V1 Gallery in November. He was also currently interviewed and featured on the Phillips Art Expert and The Boston Globe.
