This shop was conceived of more than two years ago and with the actual real birth of the shop on June 8, 2007, the baby was born. After months of help from amazing friends and some intense dry walling sessions, Super Champion has come clean to the forefront, as the track bicycle shop to go to in Vancouver... Canada, that is. With the cord cut and a c-sect performed to keep things tight knit, we are open and are selling track bicycle components for you!
We are located in the best part of town, in my opinion, due to the fact that we deal with no walk by foot traffic and are one of only three businesses on our block that have regular business hours. Super Champion is a real shop, for real working class individuals. We are a track bike shop from the deepest depths of our satanic souls, we are merchants of death promoting no brakes and high gear inches, tears, beers, and easy rides on street machines of hand-forged steel. We are no mere foof shop with fluffy shoes and fluffy clothes and nay service area. It is thy contrary, building savage wheels on the daily and fixing your conversion disaster in a flurry, or lacing you up the deepest V's, that are the bee's knees... Super Champion is a shop for messengers, enthusiasts, and cult followers of the pista face, as well as track dogs down with the spandex, tri spokes and huge quads. The premise of this shop is to promote and support the cult following of the track bicycle. Whether a soldier of the street, a messenger for the dollar, or a racer of the 'drome, we are here to support and show our love for the track bicycle community.
