Melissa A. Thompson's first novel, "Dreadful Paris," was published by Snare Books and was shorlisted for the McAusland first book award. Thompson is currently working on a series of ceramic finger puppets and a photo-essay about siblings, while dreaming of Finland most of the time. She lives in Montreal with her husband Gerard Cleal where they collaborate on all kinds of projects which range from making supper to designing limited edition equestrian-inspired luggage.
