This is where it all began, planting new feet on old roads
that connect British Columbia to Arizona. A journey to
Lake Powell. Pine forests silhouetted by sky and mountains.
The sun shines red over a landscape never-ending.
This is paradise inscribed in naked rock. Haunted (supposedly),
magnificent (certainly), and manipulated by the
hands of Nature herself.
In Arizona’s desert wilderness a mood was realized, a
color palette revealed itself and a new collection took
shape. Inspired as much by the natural landscapes as the
spontaneous daytripper who seeks them out, each piece
incorporates fragments of a journey South: the Colorado
River, Glen Canyon, sun-baked sandstone, salt flats, clay
pots, copper pipes, vodka soaked watermellon, long days
and impossibly hot nights.
Here we begin again, this foolish gang bending onward…
