mt.st.mtn. {mount saint mountain} is an art and recording project centered around vinyl only pressings, limited to 200 - 500 copies, of exclusive material by artists we love with packaging, illustrations and design by us. mt.st.mtn. everything is limited and will go fast, no represses, e-mail us at news[at]mtstmtn[dot]com to join our mailing list and get the word first. against our better judgement, we now have a profile on myspace.
Finally! Our newest release Thee Ohsees/Intelligence split 12" [mtn-04] is out now and going fast. Limited to 500 copies, 45rpm, black vinyl, $15 ppd in the US [check for shipping on overseas orders], paypal to mtstmtn[at]hotmail[dot]com and we'll ship it sometime this next week. What's to know that you don't already know. Thee Ohsees is the thing run by John Dwyer (Coachwhips, Pink & Brown, Yikes, etc.) that's put out a slew of amazing records including what's arguably in the running for "Record Of The Year 2008". These tracks are from that session and they slay. The Intelligence is the thing by Lars Finberg (A-Frames, Dipers) who have put out a slew of amazing records on Narnack, In The Red, Omnibus and others. Why are we even bothering... this record rules and is limited and you should grab one before they're g-o-n-e.
Also, our newest zine release, Angela Boatwright's "Six Pack Of Sorrows" is ready to ship, $5 ppd in the US to to mtstmtn[at]hotmail[dot]com - Angela's work has graced the pages of Nylon, Vice, Tokion, Anthem, Vibe, Revolver, Mass Appeal, Jane, Arkitip, Hamburger Eyes and a trillion more. Her "200 Troubled Teenagers" photo show with Patrick O'Dell debuted in hot-shit galleries in LA, NYC and Paris. We know you've seen her work, not sure why we're even yammering on about it. Also, we're pretty sure she's the biggest metalhead we know, collects everything from black metal to fluffy 80's poodle-metal, and will pretty much start throwing bottles if you mention anything about Metallica that doesn't involve them totally ripping off Diamond Head.
